Vacancy information
As a Structural Designer, you are responsible for developing and maintaining detailed 3D structural models for complex industrial and building projects. Using Revit and other modelling tools, you create accurate models for steel and concrete structures, reinforcement detailing, pipe racks, and related structural components.
You ensure that designs are not only technically correct, but also practical and buildable. Thanks to your experience, you quickly identify clashes, inconsistencies, or optimization opportunities within the models. You proactively discuss these findings with structural engineers, lead engineers, and other disciplines to prevent issues later in the project lifecycle.
You work in collaborative model environments where multiple disciplines contribute simultaneously. This requires strong coordination, attention to detail, and clear communication. Your work supports the successful execution of projects by delivering reliable and highly detailed structural models that other stakeholders can depend on.
The diversity of projects means you will continuously encounter new technical challenges and gain experience across different types of structures and industrial applications.
What do you need
- Completed MBO or HBO degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Around 3 years of experience as a Structural Designer or BIM/3D Modeller
- Experience with Revit and 3D modelling workflows
- Affinity with steel structures, concrete structures, and reinforcement detailing
- Accurate working style with a proactive approach to technical problem-solving
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Willingness to work from the Arnhem office location
